What excites you most about working at ClearCut?

I’m really thrilled about the opportunity to bundle my experience in sales, copywriting, graphic design, marketing, and eCommerce into one role. They say “everything is practice,” so in that respect every decision seems to have organically led to this position. While I love the ability to analyze data to help sellers make informed decisions, it’s the actual client relationship-building that gets me out of bed every morning. That, and the coffee. ClearCut’s progressive, welcoming and empowering environment is the creamer.

How has ClearCut helped you with your career development?

The company clearly invests in its employees. Although, I don’t really feel like an employee at ClearCut, as much as an asset. On any given day we touch many departments. Not only are we encouraged to learn “how the sausage is made,” we are given the opportunity to actually make it ourselves.

The company also goes to great lengths to ensure transparency, as well as providing the tools and resources to advance our industry knowledge, be it through Lunch & Learns, webinars, blog posting, tutorials and classes…. or just rolling up our sleeves and just doing it.

What do you like most about ClearCut’s culture?

Everyone at the company has been welcoming from Day one. Actually, before Day One. But that’s another story. With a small roster of around 50 employees, there’s truly a sense of family you rarely see in today’s corporate culture.

What are 3 words you would use to describe ClearCut?

Sky’s the limit!

What do you like to do when you’re not working?

I have over 25,000 digital music tracks uploaded to the Cloud. All styles. And I have a passion for vinyl records. Plus, I own two vintage Schwinns. So, if I’m not at home listening to music, I’m on my way back home from the record store. On one of my bikes.

What is something most people don’t know about you?

I can recite “Jabberwocky” from memory, as well as the opening prologue from Canterbury Tales. In Old English.
